As long as I have known Tore Nossum, he has been collecting data to give kayakers information about rivers in Norway. Finally the content is at a state usable by others.

I believe this guide will be a great tool for kayakers - first to help kayakers choose which river to go for - second to give information about that specific river and its surroundings.

The aim of the guide

Whenever kayakers find themselves in a situation where they have difficulties to choose the correct river, whenever a question about water level stand in the way for the ultimate experience, the wish is that they will go automatically for this book… and know they will find the answers they are looking for.

This book is meant as a contribution to a richer life. To obtain the goal of long and pleasant living remember to go on the river with a good team that have the ability to take care of each other.

Main layout of the guide

Each geographical area has a chapter with a short description. There are four areas: Eastern, Western, Middle and Northern Norway. Southern and Far Northern Norway is not described in this guide mainly because the author has not been there. Then follows an overview map which shows the location of all the rivers in the selected part of Norway and then you come to all the detailed descriptions.
